In a unexpected partnership that challenges usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying changes echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret group.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Transformations

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who finish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
